Block of the Month Patchwork Programm
Mir gefiel der Gedanke, einen schönen großen Quilt in bequemen monatlichen Schritten zu nähen. Daher habe ich mich entschlossen, im Jahr 2022 an dem Programm des NQM teilzunehmen, dort wird jedes Jahr eine neues BOM-Programm aufgelegt. Alle Programme des NQM beruhen auf Entwürfen und Anleitungen erfahrener Designer und Hersteller aus den USA, genäht wird nach INCH-Maßen und die Anleitungen sind in englischer Sprache geschrieben und sehr gut bebildert. Jeden Monat konnte ich je einen, also insgesamt 12 verschiedene Blocks of the Month downloaden, von modern bis traditionell, von farbenfroh bis gedeckt, die mir Monat für Monat in kleinen Happen ein am Ende großes Top inklusive passendem Binding in kleinen Schritten bescherten. Das Ergebnis ist hier zu sehen:
